Abstract
Education is primarily natural. The capacity to learn and to know is inherent in our being. Education is considered by everyone as a solution to all our problems – be it local, political or global. However, despite the importance we put into it, the country still faces problems in our educational system. Thus, this paper analyzes the importance of education and the problems related to it.

MULTIMEDIA IN CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION

Abstract
The study aimed to look into the utilization of Multimedia in classroom instruction among faculty members in Higher Education Institution of Zamboanga del Norte.

The most common multimedia equipment utilized in classroom instructions were computer, television and LCD projector. These multimedia resources were moderately and much utilized by the respondents in classroom instruction. The performance of both users and non-users of multimedia in instruction were generally, very satisfactory. The level of students’ development was moderate in terms of cognitive, manipulative and affective aspects upon utilization of multimedia in instruction. There was no significant difference on the performance of both groups when grouped according to age, however significant difference existed on the performance when grouped according to gender. Gender is an indicator of difference on the performance of the users and non- users of multimedia. There was a significant difference in terms of performance by the users and non-users of multimedia in instruction.
